Hi All, my local shop is trying to install my new RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell workstation-edition into my computer for me. It will not boot with the card in place, doesn’t POST or get to BIOS. Fans do spin. I have 64G of system memory, which is less than the 96G graphics memory of the GPU. Would this cause such a situation? Will it start to work if I increase sysmem to 128G? thnx/jd
A bit of background: The RTX Pro is replacing a 4090FE. When the 4090 is in the box, everything is functional and stable. CPU is i713700, PSU is 1000W Corsair. The system is about 3.5 years old. Dual-boot to W11 and Ubuntu. 64G sysmem at the moment, soon to be upped to 128G. Hopefully that will solve the problem, but I’m still concerned.
It’s frustrating that we don’t have even an error message to work from. Thanks in advance for any help! thnx/jd
I am curious have you found any solutions? We are also facing the same issue right now.
