595 release feedback & discussion

Not my experience. Often we blame drivers for issues that are not necessarily caused by them. I have Ubuntu 25.10 with the 6.17 kernel and CachyOS with the latest 6.19 kernel, and KDE Plasma 6.6, and I haven’t experienced any issues resuming from sleep with either the 580 or 590 drivers.

For over a year I had suspend to RAM issues that I “blamed” on NVIDIA drivers, when in fact it was a marginal/bad 7900X CPU (Probably MCU). I RMA’d the CPU (and also bought a new one), and since I started using the 9900X (along with a new motherboard) I have not had any issues with suspend to RAM.
