AlmaLinux/RHEL 9.6 support for DOCA

Hello,

I’m a product manager from Microsoft Azure HPC/AI Compute team. Our team uses your DOCA software as the InfiniBand driver. We would like to use AlmaLinux/RHEL 9 as our host OS.

However, from the DOCA official support website and download website, the latest AlmaLinux/RHEL 9.6 is not supported: https://docs.nvidia.com/doca/sdk/general+support/index.html#src-3798632148_id-.GeneralSupportv3.0.0-SupportedHostOSperDOCA-HostInstallationProfile

Just wanted to know when AlmaLinux/RHEL 9.6 will be supported for DOCA. Do we have an ETA? Thanks!

Hallo

any updates on this? RHEL 9.6 came out two months ago, we’d like to be able to keep up with security releases in a reasonable timeframe

Regards

Hi,

This will be supported in the next release - 3.1.0 which is planned to come out in the next few days.
However, in the meantime, there’s doca-ofed support for RHEL9.6 on 2.9.3 as well, see the link below:

If there are still any issues, please open a case with enterprisesupport@nvidia.com, and it will be handled based on entitlement.

Thanks,
Jonathan.

Is there a way we can have akmod suppport on RHEL family OSes (similar to how we have DKMS on Ubuntu) to avoid kmod lagging behind kernel?
