Recently I acquired this brilliant device. Can I train some models there. My PC is not equipped with GPU and I’d like to use this device for training.
Yes, you can train your models with Xavier and also it has GPU.

I understand that it has GPU but somewhere I read that it doesn’t meant for training and you should use it for inference only.
If it is not a threat and it will not burn after training one AlexNet it’ll be great
It certainly can do training, it will just probably be slower at it than the big discrete GPU’s that are typically used for training. There shouldn’t be a concern about over-taxing the hardware. The system may be more stable if you disconnect the display while training, because it heavily utilizes the GPU for long periods of time.
