Clarification on legacy CUDA Toolkit EOL/EOS policy?

Hey everyone,

Hoping someone can clarify the official EOL/EOS policy for the CUDA Toolkit.

I reached out to customer support, and they were helpful. They mentioned that versions 12 & 13 are currently not EOL. For legacy versions, they said they’re likely considered end-of-life, but that for a more reliable source, I should ask the developer team here directly.

So, I’m just following that advice. Is there an official policy on this? I’m especially trying to figure out if versions 11 and below are officially supported or not.

That said, if by, “ officially supported”, you mean ongoing bug fixes etc. for a given version, I get the impression that once a new toolkit is released, shortcomings in the previous version are addressed there. I can’t recall seeing a point update for a superceded version ever released, as can be seen here.
