CUDA 8.0 release candidate (RC) on Ubuntu 16.04 via local deb file -> CUDA 8.0 release.

I have installed CUDA 8.0 RC on Ubuntu 16.04.1 via a “local” deb file ~5 weeks ago. Will I get updated to the release version just via updating via apt-get or do I need to un-install and get the new deb file etc?

You should install CUDA 8 explicitly.
