cuFileWrite return success,but the data write in file is not correct

I have configured GDS according to the official website of NVIDIA. But when I exec cuda_sample_003 is failed,the data which write in file through cuFileWrite is not correct.

I check the data which read from /mnt/gds/a through cuFileRead is correct,but the data which write in /mnt/gds/b through cuFileWrite is not correct(all F).

When I change size param of cuFileWrite,I found if the size < 4096,the data write in file through cuFileWrite is correct.
The samething occur with gdsio tool:

The req 000000000678f2ff is a read request,and the req 00000000368fefcd is a write request.
Since the gpu memory is same,so bv_page of the two request is same,is excepted.

But here are 2 question:

  1. why the read has correct data,but the write is wrong in file(all F).
  2. why the bv_page is belong GPU 1(through nvfs_ops->nvfs_gpu_index)?I have only one GPU on environment,and nvidia-smi show idx is 0;

Is there anyway to print the data of GPU page in kernel space?
I want to know what’s happened,the write req recive the wrong data?or the data map to nvme wrong.

This question is very troubling for me.

I also test on kernel:5.13.0-30 GDS version:11.8, but the same wrong occur.

When I install 12.3, it`s occur:

I found for Volta, it’s only can use the proprietary kernel modules. But since 12.2, it’s only support the open source kernel modules,so I use the 12.1.
