Debian 12 - Installing Nvidia Cuda Toolkit following outlined instructions has made external displays stop working after reboot

I followed the instructions here to install the Cuda toolkit, as well as the drivers, for x86_64 Debian 12. After rebooting as being prompted, only one of my monitors is displaying, and the rest of them show no signal found, even after unplugging and plugging cable back in.

Just wondering what I can do to troubleshoot this? Also if anyone else has run into something similar, and how they fixed it?

Thanks.

Edit: Sorry I am on Wayland session, my DE is Gnome. AFAIK I have disable iGpu in BIOS (my bios doesn’t have a disable option, but you select PCIe lane as the display driver over iGPU).

Running nvidia-smi shows:

jamison@debian:~$ nvidia-smi
NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.

You installed the open kernel driver which is incompatible with your Pascal based 1070. Please uninstall and use the normal driver.
