I’m designing a carrier board for the Xavier NX, and I ran into an issue laying out the display port connector where my display port jack is on the top and Jetson SOM is on the bottom, so my lane D+ and D- lines cross. I could switch my connector to the bottom side of the board and fix it but I don’t have that option.
I’ve ben told that display port lane polarity can be switched like PCIe in some cases but only if the DP module knows it’s been reversed or has been configured for reversed lanes. Does anyone have any experience with this regarding the Jetson NX and if so, does this lane polarity reversal work with the NX? Can it be trained?
