Dear all,
I’d like to install the CUDA toolkit on a PCLinuxOS distribution, for which no specific package is provided.
I know there are already some topics on this forum about installing CUDA on non-supported distributions. This is not what I want to ask about. I’d like to know if it would be possible to create distribution-independent packages (provided as .run or .bin installer)…
For instance, this is the case for the nvidia display driver that one can download directly from this website, instead of using distribution-provided packages. Why not do it also for the toolkit?
If this is not possible, I’ll resort to using the RHEL packages, since PCLinuxOS derives from Red Hat…
Cheers,
B.
