Does the Jetson AGX Orin 32GB support hardware timestamping for PTP?

Hi,
I know from experience that the 64GB does support hardware timestamping for ptp.
But I don’t know about the 32GB Version.

Please advise.

On my agx orin dev kit 32gb it does.

sudo ethtool -T eno1

  • Capabilities: The Capabilities section explicitly lists hardware-transmit and hardware-receive. This means the network interface card (NIC) can generate timestamps at the hardware level for both outgoing and incoming packets.
  • PTP Hardware Clock: The presence of PTP Hardware Clock: 0 confirms that there is a dedicated hardware clock on the network card that can be used for the Precision Time Protocol (PTP). This clock is independent of the system’s software clock.
  • Hardware Timestamp Modes: The lists under Hardware Transmit Timestamp Modes and Hardware Receive Filter Modes show the specific PTP message types that the hardware can timestamp.
