Hi,
we have an Dell R740 Server with an RTX2000ada. We are using this Server as an RDS-Host. We already disabled the integrated video card and installed the nvidia driver.
On our labserver everything ist fine. But when we try to use this videocard in our production enviroment we are running into trouble.
When we have only 25 users per physical Server, everything is fine. After 30 Users and more the dwm.exe keeps crashing. What we found in the Windows Logs:
“Der Desktopfenster-Manager-Prozess wurde beendet. (Prozessexitcode: 0xc00001ad, Neustartzähler: 8, ID des primären Anzeigegeräts: NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation)” - Source: Dwminit
We are also monitoring the load of the card, this looks good so far. with 30 Users we have ~6-7GB Video Memory Use and 25-30% load on the GPU. i think this should still be fine.
can someone help to find the cause of this problem?
