Hi! Somebody had the idea of pushing the 570 beta drivers in the repo after people pressured them in the forums and now my system (and many others’) can’t sleep or even get to the lock screen without getting a black screen.
Most affected users solve it by downgrading to the latest stable 550. Unfortunately I can’t, when I try to install nvidia-gl-G06-550.144.03-30.1
I get:
Checking for file conflicts: .....................................................................................................................................................................................[error]
Detected 2 file conflicts:
File /usr/lib64/libnvidia-egl-gbm.so.1
from install of

conflicts with file from package
libnvidia-egl-gbm1-1.1.2-7.1.x86_64 (@System)

Powering through breaks programs like Krita:
Could not initialize GLX
There’s only one version of libnvidia-egl-gbm1
available from the repo-non-free, 1.1.2-7.1. The ones from openSUSE:Tumbleweed and repo-oss are 1.1.2-2.2, but they don’t work either. I also had no luck downgrading to different 550 versions.
