after my bumpy start with a jeston orin nano i get it running with yolo v8 and a USB Cam. I am using yolov8l.pt as model, which is giving me a good detection of objects in real time. I trained my own modell so far, but the results are crap. Is it allowed to use yolov8l.pt and enhance object detection by training it further? Are there some how to’s somewhere? I dont want to mess it up … so i need clear instructions.
Yolo should run on a boat, so i need to add some “watersport” objects for detection. Pictures are available… i just need a clean way to train this modell further. I know when i do it with ChatGPT help i will mess it up. Are there some nice how to’s in the wild?

Hi,
The training step is the same as a desktop environment.
So you can apply the same procedure and copy the model to Jetson for inference.
