Please provide complete information as applicable to your setup.

• Hardware Platform GPU
**• DeepStream Version 5.0 **
• JetPack Version (valid for Jetson only)
• TensorRT Version 7.0
• NVIDIA GPU Driver Version 440

root@b56f06c32064:/opt/nvidia/deepstream/deepstream-5.0/samples/configs/deepstream-app# deepstream-app -c config_infer_primary.txt

I ran the above command inside the deepstream 5.0 container and got the below error.

**(deepstream-app:72): GStreamer-CRITICAL : 15:05:28.928: gst_element_get_static_pad: assertion ‘GST_IS_ELEMENT (element)’ failed
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

In fact I tried running all the config files present inside samples/configs and I got the same error.

You are not supposed to run with nvinfer config, please run with config source**
and seems from your description, you have tried with config source*** and get same results?
