Anyone working on getting gcc4.6 supported? Any ETA?
Seeing as how gcc 4.5 is not yet supported, it might be a while…
I’ve been using gcc4.6 with CUDA 4.0 since it was released, no problems so far! Just comment out the #error tag and away you go.
Your mileage, of course, may vary!

I can confirm that the CUDA SDK 4.0 compiles with the CUDA toolkit 4.0 and GCC 4.5.2 (after removing the error checks from ${CUDA_HOME}/include/host_config.h).
