Hardware PTP on Nano

Hi

Does the Jetson Nano production module support hardware PTP (IEEE 1588) on its Ethernet PHY interface? I’ve read on a previous post that the TX2 and Xavier supports hardware PTP, I would just like to confirm whether its the same for the Nano, or if it’s purely on a software level.

Hi, the PHY does not support IEEE1588 (PTP).

Thanks for the feedback. Does the TX2 4GB in that case support hardware-stamped PTP similar to the normal TX2 just to make sure?

Yes it will.

the nano 2gb version, how about it? no ptp support ?

Here it supports PTP :) But hardware not? then why is it in documentation?

there are different layers including but not limited to listed below:
hardware ptp timestamping on network interfaces
software timestamping
etc
