In any driver version above 550.90 enabling HDR on login causes KWIN to crash.
Enabling it afterwards works, but is a janky workaround.
This Bug has been found across different hardware and on various distros.

I do not have this issue on Arch using 560 with KDE Plasma. HDR enables fine, that said it is still broken because it doesn’t properly set the colorspace.
