How can I use sata peripherals with jetson nano?

We have used a custom carrier board like images below.

We added msata interface to jetson carrier board.
Is there any additional work needed to use mSATA other than the hardware connector connection?

Then it is a usb device to jetson. May the vendor driver is needed.
