How many CUDA threads can I open at TX2?

I am running a channel coding related algorithm on TX2, but I have a problem. The program returns Error 7, which looks like a problem with insufficient CUDA thread resources. Therefore, I would like to consult:

  1. How many CUDA threads can I open at TX2?
  2. Because the algorithm runs without problems on GTX1080 beforehand, I would like to ask if there is any quick way to port the algorithm developed on GTX1080 to TX2 to run?

Here is the output of deviceQuery for a TX2:

/usr/local/cuda/samples/1_Utilities/deviceQuery/deviceQuery
/usr/local/cuda/samples/1_Utilities/deviceQuery/deviceQuery Starting...
