We use the mgbe2_0 port to get gPTP timesync message from GM , I connected the GM to the Switch 1 like bellow
企业微信截图_17205989383998
however we found that the Switch1 whitch connected to mgbe2_0 itself also send multicast gptp sync and followup message, the time of those message is from 1970, here bellow is the message from orin Switch1

How can I sync the gptp message from switch, change the time of the sync message to rhe corrent utc time ,or how to cloes the gptp message of the switch itself ,and only transmit the GM gptp sync message?
thanks!

Dear @McGrady,
I will check internally and update you.
May I know how did you test it? Did you run any additional commands for this test?

Thanks for your reply.
I use the command “sudo tcpdump-i mgbe2 0 -w 1.pcap” to save the network messages of mgbe2_0 whitch connected to the switch1, and use wireshark to lodad the pcap file, and I can see the ptp time is 0, not the corrent time.

Dear @McGrady,
did you follow the steps to launch linux ptp daemons at Orin Time Sync | NVIDIA Docs
