Is the Jetson Nano qualified IPC-A-610H and IPC-A-600K class 3? It is possible to have the certificate of conformity according to these 2 standards?
This probably won’t help since it isn’t a certification you can use, but just looking at Jetsons they look more like class 1 class 3 (mil. spec). Class 3 Class 1 is more or less throw away junk, and class 2 is quality consumer electronics. Even if they are only class 2 certified, they look to be class 1 class 3 (mil spec). The “IPC-A-610” evolves over time though, and you might find that when the original Nano was created it was still “IPC-A-610F”. Just a guess, but the rating probably depends somewhat on the year the unit was produced (the look of quality says though that probably it was class 1 class 3, mil spec since the start).
Thanks for providing details about the Class 1, 2, and 3 details descrition.
But unfortunately, it is not fulfilling my request regarding Is the Jetson Nano qualified IPC-A-610H and IPC-A-600K class 3? It is possible to have the certificate of conformity according to these 2 standards?
Maybe @AastaLLL or @KevinFFF or @DavidDDD could look that up. Manufacturing specs tend to be something a bit harder to find, but anyone manufacturing to better than class 3 class 1 would always have that information (and I know Jetsons are at least class 2, maybe class 1 class 3).
EDIT: I had these swapped, class 1 is “junk”, class 3 is the mil spec.
Jetson Orin NX/Nano: IPC class 2
The classification seems reversed. Class 1 for example is electronic toys. Class 2 for example is consumer electronics. Class 3 for example is industrial/military/life saving electronics. Please check IPC standard/documentation.
Yes, I had those swapped. In any case the Jetsons seem to be quite well manufactured so far as IPC-A-610<insert standard here which changes>.
