Issue in vGPU setup in Ubuntu 20.04.3

@sschaber ,

I have replaced A6000 GPU with A5000 GPU in the same server motherboard and did the ./displaymodeselector --gpumode compute and it’s set.
I found contradictory information about this displaymodeselector in the user guide with Virtual GPU Software User Guide :: NVIDIA Virtual GPU Software Documentation. Attached screenshot for the same.

Hi, the A5000 came later so I assume the document was written before the A5000 was avail. But you are right, A5000 needs to be added…

hi @sschaber ,
While executing /usr/lib/nvidia/sriov-manage -e ALL, for both A5000 & A6000 GPU I notice below error.
libvirtd[1156]: internal error: Unknown PCI header type '127' for device '0000:01:01.1'

As well as after creating vGPU device by executing
echo "dee10d25-a906-4811-bff4-9468390c3beb" > nvidia-658/create
while trying nvidia-smi vgpu -q following output is displayed & vGPU device is not displayed.

GPU 00000000:01:00.0
    Active vGPUs                      : 0

Requesting your guidance on resolving it.
