Jetson AGX Xavier Pcie(Root) detection of Device needs jetson reboot

tegra194-pcie bind/unbind works pretty well without commenting out “enable-power-down” in device tree.

@vkorshun , Is this for my above mentioned scenarion ?

@prasanna
Yep. I have similar setup: FPGA devkit connected to PCIe. Even if I power up FPGA devkit after Xavier boot - bind/unbind pcie driver makes it visible via lspci and my device driver that I insmod after - works pretty well. So no reboot of Xavier is required during the FPGA design workflow.

Thanks @vkorshun,
Which is the Jetpack version you are using ?
Mine is L4T BSP Information:

R32 , REVISION: 4.2

and the kernel version is “Linux jetson 4.9.140-tegra #4 SMP PREEMPT Tue Mar 23 11:17:00 IST 2021 aarch64 aarch64 aarch64 GNU/Linux”.

tegra-l4t-r32.4.3
