Urgently requesting early access to maxine - The NVIDIA Inception Team suggested I make a post here.
My company VARAi is currently executing over 60,000 customer interactions using eye tracking technology and a new pilot is about to 10x our volume to 500,000/month. We are actively using a third party SDK which limits our ability to do proper ML modelling. We would really like to switch into using Maxine in our model but we have no idea where the application process stands.
HI Alex! I will assume that you’ve applied for EA? I’ll reach out to the team and nudge them.
Yes thank you. They already responded!!
I didn’t realize that ACE was its own separate application. Is this something I should do as well in a separate forum? We intend to combine Maxine w/ACE for 3,000 opticians in Poland and a major manufacturer here in the US .
Alex
I can also prod the ACE team, any chance you could provide me with some features on ACE that you’re looking to leverage?
Sure - can we kill two birds with one stone as we intend to link ACE and MAXINE into the Omniverse platform.
We currently provide a full stack solution to global eyewear manufacturers per the image below but it is currently in separate parts run through a largely manual process with little to no ML process.
Omniverse Application:
-
On the B2B side of things we transform CAD files into 3d models and individually texture frames based on their variation for leading brands like Inspecs.com
-
We currently employ a team using Blender outputting GBL files which we in turn deploy in the cloud (Omniverse application)
-
Take a look at our demo here Virtual Try On - VARAi and the ultra-hd 3d viewer
Maxine Application
ACE - B2B2C
-
we host online catalogues for over 80 customers who sell DTC and we have a new retail partner with 3000 retailers who have little to no online presence
-
simply giving retailers an online eyewear catalogue isn’t enough and establishing pupillary distance can be difficult
-
An ACE model would allow us to scale guided virtual try-ons and frame fittings just like a specialist does in opticians stores today

Sorry the last post stripped some information;
This is our current - non integrated workflow - which you can see on our home page as part of our software suite;
