That’s exactly the experience I’m having. Although I am on X11. Seems to be a general issue with the 545.29.06 driver and KDE. I hope that is going to be fixed with the 550 driver.

Thank you. Blitting instead of flipping can explain the issues you are seeing, especially when compositing is enabled since the pixels would go through an extra redirection. So, when I disable the compositor, the desktop seems to run smooth. No animations and stuff, due to missing compositing, but games run smoothly. Regarding that option for my xorg.conf: It didn’t try that, because I don’t have that config file and couldn’t generate a valid one from my current configuration, so I didn’t add that option and couldn’t try that out.
