I have the following error

NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.

on my machine and I can’t seem to install the drivers correctly.
I have checked every forum page on the topic but could not fix it.
Please find attached the bug report.
Any help would be appreciated.

Please disable secure boot in bios.
