Placa RTX 3060 Mobile

@generix

echo 100 > brightness - > this works. do less brightness

isso vai resolver o problema ?

@Abaabaiohjl Please check if setting the kernel parameter

nvidia.NVreg_EnableBacklightHandler=0

helps. Please post the output of
ls -l /sys/class/backlight
afterwards.

@generix

I keep the pci=realloc, right?

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=“quiet splash pci=realloc nvidia.NVreg_EnableBacklightHandler=0”

yes.

@generix

Freeze in loading first page after grub menu. Linux mint

Deu certo, muito obrigado

I rebooted twice and back to open but doesn’t work the brightness. And created the file grub.prime-backup

@generix

I’ve been in this situation for days 😭

Does changing brightness work when using the slider in Mint desktop?

here? not works.

@generix

@generix I did “dmseg” and appears this errors:

ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [_SB.PCI0], AE_NOT_FOUND (20210331/dswload2-162)

ACPI Error: AE_NOT_FOUND, During name lookup/catalog (20210331/psobject-220)

DPC: RP PIO log size 0 is invalid

@generix I tried kernel 5.15.
but It is worst. the driver doesnt load.
with nvidia-settings the opttions open but appear this:

(nvidia-settings:4569): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: 19:41:07.667: g_object_unref: assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT

** Message: 19:41:07.710: PRIME: Requires offloading

** Message: 19:41:07.737: PRIME: is “on-demand” mode supported? yes

I did too lightdm test mode because the boot is freezing some times in the logo linux mint theme screen. I have to turn off the button and turn it on again to enter the login screen

I think is cinnamon problem. I selected another desktop evironment and works. I tried with ubuntu with wayland. And driver load and brightness works. but i dont like this desktop evironment. lol

but But now that I saw that the card doesn’t work. If I use it to accelerate it crashes in wayland. back to ground zero.
