Im coding for the Tesla C80 on Windows XP.
I have made some changs to the .ptx assembly file and I would like to produce a .exe from it. I’ve tried a lot of nvcc option variations and can’t seem to get it right.
In more detail:
this compiles nicely into a properly functioning .exe
nvcc.exe -ptx hello_world.cu
this creates hello_world.ptx which shows the intermediate assembly. I’m interested in making some changes to this file and then creating an executable from it.
Does anyone have experience with the process of building an executable from .ptx instead of from .cu?
Thanks in advance.
