Q: What ports do I need to open on my firewall to use Test Drive?

One of the most common issues causing connectivity problems with GRID Test Drive is port and protocol blocking at your firewall. Please use Telnet or a similar tool to confirm port access.

The ports you’ll need opened are:
47991, 47995, 47996, 47998, 47999, 48000, 35043, 42231, 443 and 5001

These ports need to be enabled for both UDP and TCP traffic.

Make sure both TCP and UDP ports are open for the ports listed above

Good point, editing the original for clarity…

Hi Iwignall, thanks for your post, do you know the destinations (https) for Nvidia Grid connection? We cannot open the ports to anywhere on the internet as this will open us up to all sorts of attacks. We need these to setup rules on our firewall.

Agreed, please give some destination IPs…can’t just open these ports to the entire internet.
