Request to enable Public API Endpoints for personal organization

Hello NVIDIA team,

I am unable to generate an API key on build.nvidia.com.

When I try to generate an API key for hosted NIM APIs, I get:

“API Access Restricted by your Organization”

And in the API Keys page I see:

“No API Key Permissions. You do not have permissions to create API Keys in this Organization. Switch Orgs or contact your admin.”

This happens even though this appears to be my personal organization. When I click “Contact Admin”, the request email is sent to myself.

I need access to Public API Endpoints in order to test the free NVIDIA Build endpoint for:

moonshotai/kimi-k2.6

Could an NVIDIA moderator please tell me how to provide my account email and NVIDIA Cloud Account ID privately?

I do not want to publish account identifiers in a public forum.

Thank you.

Update:

I checked the NGC Personal Key generation page.

Under “Services Included”, I only see:

  • Secrets Manager
  • NGC Catalog

I do NOT see:

  • Public API Endpoints

So it looks like my organization/user is missing the “Public API Endpoints User” role or the Public API Endpoints service has not been provisioned.

Could you please enable “Public API Endpoints” for my organization/user?

Thank you.

I also facing same issues any resolution

Hi,

Thanks for confirming.

It looks like this is not an isolated account issue. In my case, the organization appears to be a personal organization, but API key creation is blocked with:

“API Access Restricted by your Organization”

Also, in the NGC Personal Key generation page, “Public API Endpoints” is not listed under Services Included. I only see:

  • Secrets Manager

  • NGC Catalog

So the problem seems to be that the “Public API Endpoints” service or role is not enabled/provisioned for the personal organization.

Could an NVIDIA moderator please confirm whether this needs to be manually enabled for affected personal accounts, and how we can securely provide our NVIDIA account email and Cloud Account ID without posting them publicly?

Thank you.

any idea how to fix this issues on personal organization

Unfortunately, I don’t have a confirmed fix yet.

From what I can see, this does not look like something we can fix ourselves from the user dashboard. The “Public API Endpoints” permission seems to be missing from the personal organization, so it probably has to be enabled or provisioned by NVIDIA.

I already contacted NVIDIA Support, but I’m still waiting for a real resolution.

thank you

Same here. Even if I get over to https://cloudaccounts.nvidia.com/ and I want to assign permissions it says “Error while loading the available permissions. Please try again later.”
