RTX 3050 compatibility with RedHat 7.9

Followed RedHat instructions and other online recommendations. Been at this for about 5 hours at this point. (Disabling nouveau., disabling selinux, too much to remember at this point) I’ve installed RH9 with the same hardware multiple times in under 20 minutes.
Now I’m questioning if these cards are even compatible with RH7.9

If anyone has any ideas, it would be much appreciated.

If this is a laptop, I’d rather suspect the 7.9 kernel being too old to include the driver for the cpu’s igpu that drives the internal display.

Ended up solving the issue. The 540 driver would not work. We ended up using the latest 470 and it worked as I suspected
