When I’m trying to share a screen from Chromium under Wayland, Chromium crashes (because of a segfault in libnvidia-glsi.so.495.46).
What is weird, is that I’m not even running Chromium on NVidia GPU, I run it using an integrated Intel GPU. But the crash still happens.
Environment:
OS: Fedora Workstation 35
Window Manager: Gnome (Mutter)
Windowing System: Wayland
Linux kernel version: 5.15.16-200.fc35.x86_64
NVidia proprietary driver version: 495.46
Chromium version: 97.0.4692.99
Hardware:
Lenovo ThinkPad P14s G2 (Intel CPU, with touchscreen)
GPU:
- Intel Corporation TigerLake-LP GT2 [Iris Xe Graphics]
- NVIDIA Corporation TU117GLM [Quadro T500 Mobile] (rev a1)
Steps to reproduce:
- Login into Gnome session on Wayland;
- Launch Chromium and navigate to any meeting where you can share your screen;
- Try to share the screen.
