Super MAXN Power Mode Not Available

Hello @azulu

According to this Jetson Orin Nano Super Announcement you can try reflashing the board with your current JetPack (if it is 6.0 or 6.1) if you are using an SD Card image and remove the etc/nvpmodel.conffile. Here is this note from the Announcement:

Note 1: (Applicable only if installing using an SD Card image)
If your Jetson Orin Developer Kit was previously running JetPack 6.0 or JetPack 6.1, execute the following command after the final login and reboot your device. This ensures that the [MAXN] performance mode becomes available on your system.

sudo rm -rf /etc/nvpmodel.conf

Let us know If this works for your cause.

Regards!

Orin Nano super software upgrade is only for Orin Nano devkit module (p3767-0003) for now.

For the rest kinds of modules, the next Jetpack release will support them.

If you don’t know what does that mean “rest kinds”, it means if you are using a custom board, you must wait for next release. But actually a custom board should check with board vendor but not directly sdkmanager.

I was able to get things working on our custom carrier after updating the devkit sources with our device tree and pinmux changes. @EduardoSalazar96 thank you again for your time and help. Looking forward to these new configs becoming available in the BSP sources sometime soon to avoid this kind of hacked together process, but for now things are working and we are able to continue testing.
