Hi All,
I just got a Nvidia Orin Nano 8GB developer kit from waveshare, the developer kit came with a preflashed ssd which was running Jetpack 4.3. Since this is severely outdated I updated it to Jetpack 6.2 using the SDK manager. Everything seemed to be running fine except for the power modes. The only two options I have available are 7W and 15W, no 25W or MAXN like mentioned here (🚀 Initial Setup Guide - Jetson Orin Nano - NVIDIA Jetson AI Lab , and here JetPack SDK | NVIDIA Developer ). On top of this I cant find a compatible pytorch version for my following system specifications.

Hi jbs2,
It is not expected to me since Orin Nano is not compatible with JP4.x.
I’m curious about if you are using our official devkit or the custom board from Waveshare but with similar design as the devkit.
Please share the result of the following command on your board
$ sudo nvpmodel -q --verbose
and provide the /etc/nvpmodel.conf
from your board.

Hi Kevin,
I apologize this is the jetpack version the Orin Nano was running jetpack 5.x when I first booted it. Sorry I am very new to this and trying to figure out everything.
As for the devkit I believe it is the official devkit but just sold by waveshare. How can I check

and here is my conf file
It seems that there’re only 2 power modes in your configuration file.
Could you also share the result of the following command on your board?
$ cat /etc/nv_boot_control.conf

Here is the output you requested.

This command works for me by flashing the QSPI:
sudo ROOTFS_AB=1 ROOTFS_RETRY_COUNT_MAX=5 ./flash.sh -c bootloader/generic/cfg/flash_t234_qspi.xml jetson-orin-nano-devkit-super internal
I have the similar issue before but i found that I am using the board “jetson-orin-nano-devkit” rather than “jetson-orin-nano-devkit-super”

There is also no SD card slot my Orin Nano meaning, from what I have read on other forum post this tends to lead to problems?
The script is from jetpack that you can download here - Jetson Linux | NVIDIA Developer
Hi jbs2,
It seems you are using Orin Nano 8GB (p3767-0003) so that it is expected to have only 7W and 15W power mode.
If you want to get 25W
and MAXN_SUPER
mode, please use jetson-orin-nano-devkit-super.conf
as board config to flash Jetpack 6.2 on your devkit.
$ sudo ADDITIONAL_DTB_OVERLAY_OPT="BootOrderNvme.dtbo" ./tools/kernel_flash/l4t_initrd_flash.sh --external-device nvme0n1p1 -c tools/kernel_flash/flash_l4t_t234_nvme.xml -p "-c bootloader/generic/cfg/flash_t234_qspi.xml" --showlogs --network usb0 jetson-orin-nano-devkit-super internal
