Jetson Orin Nano Dev Kit 8GB Unable to Flash Through SDK Manager

My Jetson Orin Nano Dev Kit (microSD card version) had the same issue from another post. I followed the steps from the documentation provided by NVIDIA. I used a host machine with Ubuntu 18.04. I tried both automatic setup and manual setup with the jumper. However, I have been running into an issue whenever I get to the “flash” part of the setup with the following message.

I tried to search the web to resolve the issue but was not able to flash the Jetson.

I also tried to install dtc as described

sudo apt-get install device-tree-compiler

Is there a workaround to release the 1GB of RAM other than flashing the Jetson with SDK Manager or resolving the issue with SDK Manager?

Hi,

I don’t understand what 1GB RAM you are talking about here.

Please share the full log from sdkmanager. I actually don’t see any fatal log from what you posted. The error log might be something else.

Hi @WayneWWW

The 1GB Memory I mean is shown below

when I do jtop it shows I have 6.3 G memory which is the same issue from the other thread as I was mentioning in the previous post.

I am attempting to flash the Jetson Orin Nano to get 8 GB of memory.

I am not sure which log you need to see the fatal error I did export the log and there are many files. From the terminal, the error message I keep encountering is the FileNotFoundError

Hi,

Yes, generally you just attach the whole zip file to the forum for me to check.

When you run dtc --help on your host, will it give you the outupt?

Hi,

I am uploading the zip file of the log file.

Hi,

The latest log suggest you to install

ERROR sshpass not found! To install - please run: “sudo apt-get install sshpass”

Hi @WayneWWW,

I was able to flash the nano after installing some dependencies. Thank you so much for helping me through this.
