TensorRT: Unsupported operation Slice

Hi,

I am trying to run a TensorRT engine with a uff graph definition. However, when executing the engine, I receive the following error:

ERROR: UFFParser: Validator error: vars/resnet_4b/conv2/Slice: Unsupported operation _Slice

Is it correct, that TensorRT does currently not support Slicing? Is there a way to construct a workaround for slicing in TensorRT?

Thanks you very much in advance!

I believe “Slice” is supported but “_Slice” is not. You need to figure out why your model has a _Slice op.

Could you refer me to a resource describing the Slice support? There is no mention in the official API or any other resources I found.

We created a new “Deep Learning Training and Inference” section in Devtalk to improve the experience for deep learning and accelerated computing, and HPC users:
https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/board/301/deep-learning-training-and-inference-/

We are moving active deep learning threads to the new section.

URLs for topics will not change with the re-categorization. So your bookmarks and links will continue to work as earlier.

Currently Supported TensorFlow API’s are listed here:
https://docs.nvidia.com/deeplearning/sdk/tensorrt-developer-guide/index.html#tfops

Please file a bug here: https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-developer-program
Please include the steps used to reproduce the problem along with the output of infer_device.
That way we can make sure that TensorRT 4.0 GA supports your use case.
