What advice would you give someone interested in participating in future recommendation system competitions?
The ACM RecSys conference organizes a competition every year, hosted by different companies and problem statement. In addition, there were multiple competition hosted by kaggle. First, I would review prior competitions and see which one are close to the competition, you want to join. Then I would review the top solutions from competitions, which are most closely.
