Issue Description:
I have two NVIDIA GPUs (GPU 0 and GPU 1). In the NVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings, I manually selected AutoCAD and set it to use GPU 1. However, AutoCAD continues to run on GPU 0 instead.
Troubleshooting Done:
- Confirmed the correct .exe (e.g.,
acad.exe) is selected in NVIDIA Control Panel. - Updated NVIDIA drivers to the latest version.
- Checked Windows Graphics Settings (AutoCAD is set to “High Performance” for GPU 1).
Questions:
- Why does AutoCAD ignore the GPU assignment in NVIDIA Control Panel?
- Are there additional steps (e.g., registry edits, profile resets) to enforce GPU selection?
- Could this be a multi-GPU rendering limitation in AutoCAD?
