Can this camera capture readable license plates at night from moving vehicles ?

In some sense ulta low light capability is not needed for that because the biggest problem is the glare from the license plate lighting, except in the sense that the shutter time short be able to be lowered.

The video shows a picture at 0.4lux however that’s not really ultra low light. HIKvision colorvu cameras claim to be able to render images down to 0.0005 lux.

But all products in this area are very welcome :-)

We do have various ultra-low light camera for various lux levels.

e-CAM83_CUMI415_MOD can be used to capture at >=0.1 lux.

We have recently launched See3CAM_CU27 based on SONY STARVIS IMX462 which can capture good images at 0.01 lux level. This camera supports short shutter time of 30 microseconds.

e-con is working on another 4K ultra low light camera with bigger sensor which will support capturing great images even at almost no light.
