I’m encountering difficulties in clearing the NVIDIA GPU memory, specifically the Reserved portion, on our server. I’ve attempted various methods, including server reboot, restarting the NVIDIA service, and forcibly clearing the memory using CUDA tools, but none have been successful. I also tried reloading the NVIDIA drivers, but to no avail.
Our server environment details are as follows:
- Operating System: Ubuntu 20.04
- NVIDIA GPU: RTX 3090
- NVIDIA Driver Version: 535.179
I suspect the issue may be related to specific configurations or driver versions. I’m reaching out to the community to inquire if anyone has encountered similar issues and if there are any other methods worth trying to clear the Reserved portion of the GPU memory.
