Using SPI SD Card Module

Hi!

I am trying to connect one of these SPI SD card modules to my Jetson Orin Nano, and interface with it over GPIO.

I have enabled SPI1 through this tool:
sudo /opt/nvidia/jetson-io/jetson-io.py

I have verified that the module is receiving power. Attached are all the connections just in case I’m making a silly mistake

1. I don’t know where to begin programming this thing. Can someone point me in the right direction?
2. At the very least, what can I run to check if a connection is successful?

From your image, it seems you are using Orin Nano devkit.
What’s the Jetpack version in use?

Have you verified the SPI loopback test before using SPI-SD module?

Please share the block diagram of your connection since I don’t know which color of cable connecting to which pin of the SPI-SD module.

Correct, they should be fine to verify SPI loopback test. Please refer to the following steps on the Orin Nano devkit to verify SPI loopback test. 1. Run Jetson-IO to configure the SPI pins $ sudo /opt/nvidia/jetson-io/jetson-io.py Configure Jetson 40pin Header => Configure header pins manually => Select "spi1 (19,21,23,24,26)" => Back -> Save pin changes => Save and reboot to reconfigure pins 2.
