Would A100 80GB work on a Dell PowerEdge R740xd?

Hi all

the A100 80GB is certified to work on R750 models
whereas the A100 40GB version is certified for the R740xd model.

Would A100 80GB work on a Dell PowerEdge R740xd
or should I expect issues?
