X server 1.19 crashes when Qt apps (GPU acceleration ?) are involved with Geforce GTX 750 Ti

Hi !
Since my upgrade to Fedora 25 xfce (x64), things are getting really problematic whenever Qt apps are involved. Once in a while, and quite often (there’s a lot of Qt apps in Linux), smplayer, for example, crashes my desktop and I’m back to the login. I’m unsure if it’s entirely related to Qt, since lately Chrome also caused a crash (with the log file mentionning something about GPU acceleration)

Is there anyone with the same kind of trouble ?

Thanks, I just read the last lines and totally ignore the nvidia-bug-report.sh thingy. I will do that and report here, waiting patiently for my next crash…

Try this as /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/09-msttcore-fontpath.conf is overriding the module paths,

sudo mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/00-nvidia.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/99-nvidia.conf

Thank you leigh123linux. That’s good to know. This doesn’t solve the issue, but I’m under the impression some things run smoother than before. Thank you for the advice !
Update : for now, it seems I may have been able to avoid the crash by downgrading to Xorg 1.18 using packages from fedora 24. That’s not really a solution of course.
