FYI, during a flash the purely Ubuntu root filesystem has some NVIDIA drivers added to it. At that point it can be referred to as “Linux for Tegra” (“L4T”). The L4T release is what gets flashed. Everything else, including JetPack/SDK Manager, goes to the host PC as a tool to perform flashes. R32.4.2 is the L4T release. JetPack or SDKM 4.2 has some L4T release it can flash.

The listing of all L4T releases is here:
https://developer.nvidia.com/linux-tegra

The listing of all JetPack/SDKM releases for flashing L4T are listed here:
https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/jetpack-archive

You can click on the URL for one and see which tool and L4T are packaged together.
