I was wondering if there is any virtual machine that supports cuda such that several virtual machines can run cuda kernels on the same card?
I want several machines to share the cord, and not the option nvidia showed at the gtc conference where one cards was assigned to a parallels vm exclusively.
Thanks

We are working on with great results.
In about a month we will release something working very fine wil KVM/QEMU.
It works exactly as what you are looking for.
Just wait for a while.

I am also interested, could you please announce the release on the forums? Is there an approximate launch date?
Could you give a short overview what features are you going to implement and how much will the performance suffer from the virtualization?
Thanks,
Sz

The gVirtuS is freely downloadable from http://osl.uniparthenope.it/projects/gvirtus/
The software, developed for research applications, is provided as it is. We encourage using and testing it in order to collect useful feedbacks and suggestions.

Parallels Workstation 4.0 Extreme seems to allow virtualization of the gpu. I haven’t used it, so I’m not sure of its full functionality.
