Bad window behavior with 580.119.02-1 on Fedora 42-43 XFCE spin with TU116

Fedora 42 & 43 XFCE spin. Installed 580.119.02-1 from rpmfusion. GPU is GeForce GTX 1650 (TU116)

Created a few windows. They disappear and reappear as I type in a shell window. If I overlay a few windows and swirl my mouse around (without clicking), windows disappear and reappear, and different windows may come to the foreground, as though I had focus set to “focus follows mouse,” even though focus is still set at “click to focus.”

Behavior is normal with nouveau driver, behavior is normal with older 580.95.05-1 driver. I rolled back to 580.95.05-1 to cope.

We see the same with our SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 15 SP7 systems. Works fine with 580.105, started to show exactly the same bugs with 580.119.02, closed and open driver. Just tested 580.126.09 closed driver (the matching open driver is not yet available in the SuSE repos), still same problem. We are using GeForce RTX 3050 6GB cards.

Xfce is indeed unusable with any driver after 580.105, and this is a real problem as XFCE is the desktop our research assistants use most.
