Black screen after wake up from suspend

OpenSuse Leap 15.2, optimus laptop with nvidia 1050 and intel, nvidia driver 460 - after wake up from suspend the laptop is unusable due to black screen.
Removing nvidia driver solves the issue.
Is this a known issue with the 460 driver?

Not really. Does an earlier driver version work? Please run nvidia-bug-report.sh as root and attach the resulting nvidia-bug-report.log.gz file to your post.

nvidia-modeset: ERROR: GPU:0: Failed detecting connected display devices

Seems the nvidia gpu is on but not responding after resume. Please update your system bios first, it’s quite old.

My system BIOS is up to date, #312 is the latest as per Asus web site, and there’s no problem with this laptop using nvdia driver under Win10, so it’s not a BIOS issue.
I suggest for Nvidia to buy a few optimus laptops and test software first thoroughly, instead of releasing broken drivers into production. That’s if Nvidia wants to keep their Linux customers.
