BluefField3 External Interface Issues

Hello!

I have a BlueField-3 B3220 P-Series (Firmware version 32.37.1306) installed to a server and I’m having issues with external connectivity. The server connects normally to BF3 through the Rshim, but the external facing interfaces do not seem to connect. I’ve tried connecting to a Tofino Switch and to another server. In both cases the interface is not able to negotiate speed (running ethtool on the interface shows Speed: Unknown! Duplex: Unknown!), and I’m not able to ping over it. I’m utilizing a Mellanox qsfp cable to connect BF3 to the external server.

I’m not sure if this is an issue with the cable or a software side issue with the BF3. Anyone has a clue to what might be happening?

First I suggest you update the BFB(include FW) to last version and see it works or not:
