We use WD SN750s and when the system is powered on PoE+, when power spikes from the SSD and GPU line up, the system power draw exceeds this spec and causes the entire system to go down.
We have been able to work around it by setting NVMe power mode to 2 but this drastically reduces the performance of the storage. It’s acceptable for the time being but not having the option of running something like SATA on the M.2 M-key slot (As the Xavier does not support this protocol, it is NVMe only), we need to evaluate other SSDs to find one that exhibits low peak power characteristics.
